CRAFTY (Competition for Resources between Agent Functional TYpes) model
PDF Print E-mail

CRAFTY is an agent-based model (ABM) of land use change that has been developed as part of the VOLANTE project. The model framework is described in detail in Murray-Rust et al. 2014. The principal uses for CRAFTY in VOLANTE were to investigate the potential effects of land manager and institutional behaviour on processes and patterns of land use change (Brown et al. 2014), and to model land use dynamics at European scale. These applications informed the conclusions drawn from the pathways analyses for the final roadmapping (VOLANTE D6.3).
